HOPE Ministries

Feeding The Homeless

HOPE Ministry provides a meal, provisions, personal supplies, clothing and the awareness of God's love to the Homeless in the Grove City & Columbus areas.  We load the Church Bus with a hot meal & donated supplies, and distribute everything once a month.  We typically go out on the fourth Sunday at 1:00pm (after second service).  We could always use volunteers to help with everything from cooking the meals on Sunday to distributing supplies on the Bus.  Contact our Ministry Leader, Scott Howard if you'd like to know where you can help!

Upcoming Events

Sunday, April 28

Our HOPE Ministry visits the homeless every fourth Sunday of the month following second service. Our visits are an opportunity to share God's love with those who live in tents, on the ground and occasionally in shelters. By providing meals, personal supplies and clothing, we are able to have a personal relationship with these people and share the Gospel with them. The visit has many opportunities for church members to participate including supply donations, making/providing the Sunday meal, bagging items, and loading the bus. Our next visit will be on Sunday, April 28 following second service. Specific supplies that are needed to continue this ministry are listed on the next slide.  Your donations make what we do in HOPE Ministries possible! Providing supplies, talking and sharing with those who only have a tent or mat for comfort offers an opportunity for us to share God's love to those we wouldn't normally get to. You can always contact Scott Howard with the provided email/phone number if you would like to serve or if you have questions.
